Estate Agents in Leatherhead – Our flagship Leatherhead office is centrally situated within an attractive Grade II Listed building on the corner of Church Street and the town’s High Street. Its highly prominent position offers over sixty feet of window frontage allowing us to showcase the widest variety of property for sale and to let in the area.
At the Leatherhead office, we handle all aspects of residential property including sales, lettings and property management, block management, land and new homes as well as land acquisition and land sales and professional services.
The sales office is headed by the Senior Partner, Bruce Shaw and Partner Tom Mason. Other members of the sales team include Senior Negotiators, Janet Walton, Andrew Dronfield and Edward Macfarlane, Negotiator Emma Wayland, Sales Progressor Julie Barratt, and Office Administrator Cathy Hooker. Associate Partner Jackie Collett, manages the finance department for residential sales, new homes sales and block management, and is assisted by Accounts Manager, Jane Stallard.
The lettings department is headed by Director Nick Hutton, who is supported by Lettings Manager Alex Pritchard, Senior Lettings Negotiator Sarah Doyle, Lettings Negotiator Jackie Boote, and Lettings Coordinators Cathy Hobson and Lucinda Cooper. The lettings Property Management Department includes Louise Brown, Head of Property Management, Property Managers Elaine Dickson, Juli Probett, Kate Stadler, and Sarah Hartgill in Accounts. The lettings business has grown to now service over 750 landlords and is recognised as a market leader in the Mole Valley.
The Land and New Homes department run by Vari Bowling (Partner) is centralised at Leatherhead and has gained an enviable reputation for providing the best knowledge and expertise to assist our clients with all their needs. BSC (Hons) MRICS - Bruce first became involved in estate agency in 1986 joining Osenton Lamden in Ashtead village. Thereafter, Bruce worked in London’s West End as a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) in 1994. In 1996 Bruce returned to agency with Patrick Gardner & Co becoming Partner in 1998, heading up Leatherhead Sales.
A RICS Registered Valuer, Bruce undertakes ‘Red Book’ Valuations for Inheritance Tax purposes, Capital Gains Tax Valuations and Matrimonial Valuations. He has vast experience with a range developments and development opportunities.
Living in Ashtead and married with two children, Bruce manages the junior cricket team at Ashtead Cricket Club and enjoys fly fishing.

Jackie joined Patrick Gardner & Co in 1996 assisting with the administration of all the offices and staff. After being a Partner for 9 years and being involved with the roles of financial controller, human resource manager, payroll manager, lettings administrator and block management, Jackie has now taken a step back from full-time work to concentrate on just the financial aspect as an Associate Partner.
Jackie is married and has two grown up daughters. She is a keen badminton player, an ardent supporter of Surrey County Cricket Club and enjoys bird watching and walking in the Surrey Hills.

After 35 years in estate agency, beginning in Cheshire, then in London and now here in Surrey, Andrew has worked for both corporate and independent estate agents. He has a wealth of local knowledge having worked in Leatherhead for almost 10 years. He still gets great enjoyment from helping both vendors and purchasers alike, and thrives on the day to day challenges that the job brings.

Janet has worked for the Patrick Gardner & Co since 1995, Subsequently overseeing innumerable sales over the years. Prior to this Janet had her own business whilst her two children grew up. Preceding that she worked in Fleet Street for 12 years.
Janet enjoys playing golf, country walks and painting, she also loves football and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

Having lived in the area all her life, Emma joined Patrick Gardner in 2020 originally as a Saturday sales assistant. Her commitment to hard work and excellent customer service resulted in Emma quickly progressing to the role of Negotiator at the Leatherhead branch. With her sharp knowledge of the local market, Emma has helped numerous families find their dream home.
When not standing on the side of a netball and rugby pitch, Emma enjoys long walks in the local countryside with her dog and holiday trips to Cornwall with her family.

Ed started his estate agency career in 2013 working for an independent agency in Kingston Upon Thames. Educated at St. Johns School in Leatherhead, Ed has lived in the area his whole life, gaining him excellent local knowledge to provide an exceptional service.
Ed enjoys playing football for both Surbiton Lions and Walton Heath whilst he is also an avid AFC Wimbledon fan.

Having lived in Mole Valley all her life and having worked for Patrick Gardner Residential since the very first day the firm opened, Cathy has extensive experience of the business. Initially working as Patrick’s personal assistant, now is a crucial member of the Leatherhead sales team in addition to overseeing the majority of the firm’s administrative needs.
Cathy is married to Douglas (Partner at our Ashtead office) and has a daughter Jenny. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and walking with her two rescue greyhounds.

Julie joined our Leatherhead office sales team as a Sales Progressor in 2019 after having previously worked for 25 years as a Sales Negotiator. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the business overseeing the smooth running of sales agreed, providing a friendly and approachable contact point for clients and purchasers alike. She is passionate about her job and now covers sales for the Leatherhead, Ashtead and New Homes side of the company.
Julie and her husband have recently moved from Cheam to Bookham having liked the area so much and enjoys being part of the local community.

Jane joined our Leatherhead office as part time Finance Manager in Block Property in June 2020 and assists Jackie in the day-to-day running of the department.

BA (hons) MARLA - Nick has worked for Patrick Gardner and Co since 2005 and has been involved in the property industry since 2003. Specialising in residential lettings Nick also takes a keen interest in all aspects of property from renovation and development to investment and letting. This experience means he is committed to delivering straightforward and well researched advice to ensure landlords maximise their rental yields. Nick is an avid sports fan and enjoys travelling, cooking and refurbishing his own property.

Sarah re-joined Patrick Gardner Lettings in 2014 having worked for the Company previously between 2000-2005. Over the past 9 years she has worked in both residential sales and lettings in the Guildford and Horsley areas. Sarah lives in Leatherhead and has 2 children and in her spare time she enjoys interior design, travelling and long dog walks.

Elaine joined the Property Management team in November 2015 having spent a number of years running her own property inventory company. She had prior to this worked in Property Management for seven years. Outside work she is worn out by her two grandsons, enjoys sport, playing competitive netball and darts. In the odd spare moment she enjoys a glass of wine with family and friends.

MARLA - Lucinda joined the lettings team of Patrick Gardner Residential five years ago after a change in career direction, which previously included ten years in the city on the financial futures exchange.
A local resident, Lucinda lives with her husband, three children and one naughty dog! She loves her garden and is a dedicated tennis player.

Cathy has worked for Patrick Gardner and Company for over 10 years as a lettings coordinator and works very closely with all members of the lettings team.
Having previously run an outside catering business she is a keen cook, enjoys gardening and taking her two Bernese mountain dogs for long walks.

Juli joined Patrick Gardner in June 2018 and has been a property manager since 2005. She previously worked for a large international property company, and has experience of managing small apartments, large luxury homes and Grade Listed houses across the South East.
Born in Surrey, and a resident in Fetcham since 2007, Juli enjoys spending time in the Surrey Hills with friends and family, the theatre and is part of a local Book Club.

MARLA – Alex has been part of the Residential Lettings team for over 10 years. He prides himself on his extensive knowledge and experience of the Mole valley and the local property market, Alex is an integral part of the team and key to its ongoing success. Having managed our Dorking branch for many years, Alex moved to our Leatherhead Head Office in 2022. Alex’s hard working yet affable approach has proved popular with both landlords and tenants alike, he always strives to deliver an excellent and professional service.
As a proud father of two and a keen cyclist Alex enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with his family exploring new places.

MARLA - Sarah joined Patrick Gardner in accounts in October 2018 after moving back to Surrey, after 18 years living on the South Coast. She is a bookkeeper and member of the IAB. Her time at home is spent looking after three lively boys aged 12, 10 and 7 as well as renovating her house! She also enjoys visiting new countries.

MARLA - Louise joined Patrick Gardner this year and has previously been working in property management and all fields of estate agency for over 25 years. Louise brings a wealth of knowledge to the company and provides a down to earth and caring approach to all our landlords and tenants. She is very passionate and will go above and beyond with her ‘can do’ approach. A true problem solver at heart.

Kat joined as a Property Manager this year, previously working in the City then within block management in East London. Prior to this, she worked within fashion, travelled overseas a fair bit then placed her roots in Australia working for Lachlan Murdoch. You’ll highly likely to find her on the river kayaking/rowing/paddle boarding, learning boat DIY, playing tennis, cooking, & tik tocking with her daughter.

Jackie has held a number of roles within our lettings department from Saturday Negotiator to Property Manager so she is well versed in the intricacies of letting, and has become a pivotal member of our team.
With previous experience in finance and investment banking in the City, Jackie is well placed to secure properties for waiting tenants. Outside of work her two active teenagers and Panda, the Jack Russell, keep her very busy.
