The final deadline to reserve a new home, and by which you need to apply for the scheme is 6pm on October 31, 2022.

Help to Buy is available to first-time buyers only and offers them a loan enabling them to buy a new build property with a deposit of just 5 per cent.

Homebuyers with a 5% cash deposit can apply for a government-backed loan of up to 20% of the purchase price with a 75% mortgage completing the balance.
